AMNCH is situated on the south-west 'corner' of Dublin, as shown on the map here. It's about a half hour drive from the city centre (but do allow more time if travelling throughout Dublin's busy rush-hour), and roughly the same time from the airport (which is to the north of the city). If you are coming via the M50, take the exit at the Firhouse roundabout, as shown on the map. Follow the signs for Tallaght on the N81 for about 1km (0.6 mile). The right hand turn for the hospital is just past the Plaza Hotel and the Square Shopping Centre (on the right) and a public park (on the left).

The hospital is on the Luas (tram) Red Route, which takes around 45 minutes from the centre (Connolly and Hueston Stations), with trams every 5-10 minutes or so. There is a stop for the hospital. For more information see www.luas.com
There are also regular buses, from around the city which drop you at the gates of the hospital. Bus Nos 49, 49A, 50, 54A, 65, 65B, 65C, 77 and 77A all leave from Eden Quay, in the city centre near O'Connell Street. In addition, the 75 bus runs from Dun Laoghaire, the 76 from Ballyfermot, the 76A from Blanchardstown, and the 201 and 202 are local Tallaght buses. Details of pick-up points along the way can be obtained from the Dublin Bus Ringsend Depot on 00 353 (01) 703 4533 or www.dublinbus.ie
