A healthy mind in a healthy body is everyone's ideal. Hospitals such as Tallaght exist, of course, to maintain such ideals. One of the great beauties of working here is the breadth of social and leisure activities organised by the staff and for the staff.

Then there's the Occupational Health Department, which will provide you with (amongst others), flu jabs, eye-tests, ergonomic assessments, cardiac screening and vaccinations. The spiritual needs of patients and staff are met by the hospital's Pastoral care department, which operates on an inter-dominational basis. A prayer room is available for Muslims and other faith groups for prayer.
